What is Server Manager?
Server Manager is a management tool for Microsoft Windows Server operating systems designed to assist system administrators in installing, configuring, and managing server roles and features.
It provides a user interface through which local and remote servers, added to the server pool, can be managed without the need for the system administrator to log in to each server separately.
With Server Manager, you can perform various administrative tasks, such as monitoring server performance, tracking server logs, or examining performance.
Using Server Manager
Server Manager starts by default when you log in to the Windows Server system. You can also start it manually by searching for it in the Start menu.
Running PowerShell on a server
You can, for example, select "All Servers" from the view, choose one server, and run PowerShell there.
Server status inspection
Select "Local server" to see the status of the local (in this case DC1) server.
You can easily see the status of important cybersecurity configurations such as firewall, antivirus, and updates from one view.
